We had planned to go to the Liberty Corn Maze with M's parents and then to the Kickball Griller with Scott and Tricia, but the best laid plans and all that. The guy who we've been working with to landscape our backyard and pour the patio (who we've been playing phone tag with) called last night and when Michael called him back this morning he said he would be at our house at 12:30 to go over things. So we had to cancel the Maze and then we were in the yard work groove and suddenly it was 3:00 in the afternoon and M was on a ladder cutting branches off of our trees. Tallulah was having a great time as branch after branch came down.
The yard looks nice and lots of things we have been meaning to do finally got taken care of. I'm sad we missed out on the Maze and the Griller, but I'm glad that the yard is taken care of.
Now I'm going to need a nap.
