Cleaning my way to the Quilt

I'm working on a beautiful baby girl quilt right now. I can say objectively because the fabric is just divine. (Some Freshcut by Heather Bailey) All I want to be doing right now is stitching that binding on - but I have vowed to clean today. I even borrowed the Dyson in order to REALLY clean. So I am going to start in the kitchen and work my way back - room by room to the office/craft room. Then once the house is clean I will get to work on finishing the quilt.

Here's a sneak peek at the fabric.

Quilt in Progress

Quilt in Progress
I was hoping to have this quilt for a little girl finished before she arrived, but it's not looking good as she was due last week - though still has not made her grand entrance, she will be here by Friday. The quilt, will not be finished by then.

Horrible Photos of a baby quilt

My first baby quilt - the photo is darker then it really is especially on the boarder.

A close up of the bees and stripes. (You can't really tell from the photo, but the light green has little bees buzzing around orange flowers.)

I promise I'll take better photos in the future.

baby quilts

People are having babies all around me. So it's time to start making baby quilts!
The first one is light green with little yellow bees. Pictures will be posted as soon as the camera starts to work again.
