Dinner Tonight: Beef Stir-Fry with Veggies over Quinoa

I love stir-fry, but sometimes it doesn't turn out right. The beef is tough, the sauce is weird, something is just "off". Luckily tonight it worked out and was yummy! Here's the recipe.

- 1.5lbs beef strips marinated for 5 hours
Marinade: (sorry no measurements) some soy sauce, some honey Dijon mustard, Worcester sauce, garlic powder and powdered ginger.
- 1/2 lb of asparagus cut into 4 inch pieces
- 3 carrots cut into matchsticks
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 tbs balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbs orange juice
- 1 tbs brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp powdered ginger
- corn starch to thicken
  1. Stir fry the beef strips until almost done then set aside on plate.
  2. Drain off any liquid in pan and then added veggies and cook until tender-crisp.
  3. Add the beef and the next 7 ingredients, toss to coat.
  4. Push beef and veggies to the side of the pan and add corn starch to thicken the sauce.
  5. Coat beef and veggies with sauce and serve over quinoa.
